In addition, and im not positive on this but maybe someone with an LS or a Tbird can measure it out, it's possible that you may be able to keep your regular power brakes as opposed to going manual or hydroboost like when swapping in a mod motor. or 280 hp/286 lb/ft depending on which year engine. It's all aluminum, weighs roughly the same if not a little less than a standard 302, put out either 252 hp/267 lb/ft. BUT.it does seem like a cool engine to me for a few reasons. ![]() Mainly the lack of aftermarket support and the lack of a good manual tranny (that I know of at least.although it did come with a 5-speed auto). ![]() I know, probably not.because of multiple reasons.
